About MRI Programs
The Heart of MRI
At the heart of Media Rhythm Institute lies MRI Programs, where creativity meets education to inspire and equip Baltimore’s next generation of innovators. Since our founding in 2017, MRI Programs have empowered youth through media arts education, combining creativity with STEM to provide students the skills needed to excel academically, explore their passions, and develop into future entrepreneurs.

Our programs cover a wide range of media and arts-based training, including dance, hip-hop music composition, filmmaking, DJ’ing, and more. From in-depth semester-long classes to engaging one-hour workshops, MRI Programs cater to students of all ages and skill levels.
We are proud to partner with key organizations such as Baltimore City Public Schools, Baltimore City’s YouthWorks programs, and numerous other local initiatives to reach the next generation.

Through a focus on art and workforce development, MRI Programs are building future leaders in the creative community. Our students not only develop their artistic skills but also learn how to apply those skills to become responsible, innovative entrepreneurs who can drive meaningful change in their communities.

Whether it’s through music, dance, filmmaking, or other forms of media, MRI Programs provide a platform for young creatives to explore their potential, gain real-world experience, and prepare for careers in the arts and entertainment industries.

As adults, we all agree about the many benefits the arts bring to our lives. However, arts education for our youth has become increasingly limited. With MRI Programs, we're dedicated to making sure Baltimore's young creatives receive the best possible training and nurturing so that they may continue to build Baltimore's creative legacy.
